I give talks and lead workshops at all types of events and organizations—academic institutions, non-profits, public agencies, and private corporations—on topics including:
The potential (and limitations) of “smart cities” and urban informatics;
Incorporating data and technology into policy and practice;
Pursuing equity with data and technology;
Any of the topics on my research page.
I am especially interested in working with municipalities and community-based organizations that are looking to leverage data and technology to advance their work.
Costs for speaking and leading workshops depends on shared interests, scope of request, and the host’s access to resources.
